Designing a notification management system to send important updates to Jamaican Citizens.
Overview
The Notifications Platform is a web application that allows Jamaican Government officials to create, send and manage important updates and notifications to thier Jamaican citizens via email, SMS and WhatsApp.
The Problem
Jamaican Government officials were struggling to send important updates like hurricane alerts to thier citizens.
- Hard to create and send notifications in bulk.
- Hard to categorize and target certain group of Jamaican citizens.
- Hard to schedule notifications in different platforms to bulk target Jamaican citizens.
Research and Discovery
Natural hazards are a significant challenge for Jamaican citizens. Sending updates and notifications like hurricane alerts are a differentiators from life and death.

Happiness thrives not by ignoring the danger, but by facing the sea together, ensuring the future remains secure even against the rising tides.
